Lufcnews is an official partner of Football News UK. The brand was formed in 2017 after our founder and owner, Alex Matthews, left the British Army following five years of service. Since then, Lufcnews has grown to more than 48,000 followers and has reached as many as 5 million people in a month.
What makes us different?
We have extensive experience in football punditry and original reporting. Our Senior Editor, Mitchell Burley-Emmerson, has featured on major broadcasting networks including the BBC, Sky Sports News and Radio 606.
Our aim is simple: to deliver original football journalism that captivates readers, with insightful coverage of the sport they love and the issues that matter to them. We also document stories that we have exclusively broken or reported on ahead of wider coverage and official confirmation.

How our store operates
Our merchandise store is operated by Football News UK LTD, Company Number 12060029. Designs are created for the Lufcnews brand and produced with selected manufacturing and fulfilment partners. Depending on the product, items may be printed to order or dispatched from held stock. Product-specific production, dispatch and delivery information is shown on the relevant product page.
We share our content for free with millions of football fans through our Facebook and Instagram channels, including Lufcnews.co.uk, footballnewsuk.com and mufcnews.co.uk.
